The project is intended to cover the electrical shortage in the region, since the use of gas makes it possible to reduce the cost of electricity generation. Project implementation period – 2021-2024. The power station plant will use the latest developments in energy, which have no analogues in the CIS countries. The project is approved by the Ministry of Energy, the issues of obtaining the necessary volume of gas for the successful implementation of the project are resolved. New energy production will solve the problem of a shortage of maneuvering capacity for the power system of the southern regions.
A preliminary feasibility study has been completed, as well as survey work on the site. EPC contract was signed with a Chinese company China Tianchen Engineering Corporation (TCC). The measures are being taken to obtain technical specifications for gas supply. 750 people will be involved in the construction of the facility, and after the launch of the plant, 200 specialists will be employed here.
