\u00abKumkol Oil\u00bb LLP is a subsurface user with subsoil use rights for hydrocarbon exploration and production under Contract No. 4919-UVS ME dated 28.05.2021 at \u00abnear Kumkol\u00bb in the Karaganda and Kyzylorda regions. The contract territory covers 1631.7 square kilometers.<\/span><\/p>\n

On May 28, 2021, the contract for exploration and production of hydrocarbons was signed between \u00abKumkol Oil\u00bb LLP and the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hydrocarbons exploration project near Kumkol was approved on September 17, 2021. According to this project, Kumkolskaya No. 1 well was drilled.<\/span><\/p>\n

In March 2022, oil inflow was received at Kumkolskaya No. 1 well during the first object testing. Then two more sites were tested, and oil was also obtained.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0On January 26, 2023, an addendum to the exploration project was approved. At this time, the report \u00abOperational calculation of oil and dissolved gas reserves at \u00abnear Kumkol\u00bb is compiled. The report was approved by the Interregional Department \u00abYuzhkaznedra\u00bb and submitted to the Geology Committee for defense at a meeting of the State Reserves Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There are also reports at the completion stage.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00abAuthor\u2019s supervision over implementation of design solutions for \u00abProject of exploration for search for hydrocarbons at \u00abnear Kumkol\u00bb and the\u00a0 \u00abAddendum No. 1 to the Project of exploration for search for hydrocarbons at site \u00abnear Kumkol\u00bb. The project “Trial operation near Kumkol” is currently being developed.<\/span><\/p>\n
